Includes yellow/brown sugar, fructose, maltose, maple sugar, molasses, corn syrup, glucose, table sugar (also known as granulated refined white sugar), icing sugar, caster sugar, stevia (sweet leaf)), etc. Excludes artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and acesulfame-K. Also excludes sugar alcohol such as erythritol, xylitol and mannitol, which are commonly used for replacing sucrose in foodstuffs and often used in combination with high intensity artificial sweeteners. Note: Sugar and sweeteners used for industrial processing are excluded.
