Despite the recent market disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, sustainability in pet care is staying as relevant as ever before, proving to be the frontier for innovation in Europe. This past year, French company Hamiform launched Detox, a flavored water for rabbits. The water is packaged similarly to human products and is organic. New Global Pet, a dog and cat food distribution company in Portugal launched Aruba, which adheres to sustainability practices through its CO2-neutral production plant in Germany. Finally, Slovakian company Bow Bow is providing high quality, homemade pet treats that are organic and gluten-free.
