Beer is projected to see a small rise in total volume sales in 2025 and a slight total volume CAGR over the forecast period. A rebound in beer consumption is expected to be driven by a growing 35-year-old-and-over population group, although there is generally waning interest among younger adults and more religious consumers.
Flavoured lager remains niche in Uzbekistan, despite occasional launches like limited-edition Sarbast Aroma (citrus flavour). Beer is still shaped by a strong preference for traditional types and familiar tastes.
Innovation in beer is expected to focus on niches, as global trends gradually influence local consumption, particularly through the growth of international tourism. While mainstream demand continues to centre around domestic economy and mid-priced lagers, new product developments may emerge through imported brands and speciality offerings.

Beer
An alcoholic drink usually brewed from malt, sugar, hops and water and fermented with yeast. Some beers are made by fermenting a cereal, especially barley, and therefore not flavoured by hops. Alcohol content for beer is varied – anything up to and over 14% ABV (alcohol by volume), although 3.5% to 5% is most common. Beer is the aggregation of lager, dark beer, stout and non/low alcohol beer.
