RTDs will see continued robust growth throughout the forecast period, driven by notable demand for economy and mid-priced brands which will remain popular among local consumers. RTDs are the most popular alcoholic drinks among Tunisians aged 18-25, with this demographic set to further support sales over the next five years at least.
2024 saw several new entrances imported from Bulgaria, Spain, and Estonia – for example, Slaur Sardet, Punch! Club, and Cody's Gody. Domestic players are almost absent from RTDs in Tunisia, despite the strong demand, with previous year’s launches having failed.
RTDs are still relatively new in Tunisia, and many consumers are still discovering them – especially in rural areas. New launches are quickly successful, and local consumers are keen to experiment with different variants.

RTDs
RTD stands for ‘ready-to-drink’. Other terms which may be used for these products are FABs, alcopops and premixes. The RTDs sector is the aggregation of malt-, wine-, spirit- and other types of premixed drinks. These drinks usually have an alcohol content of around 5% but this can reach as high as 10% ABV. Premixes containing a high percentage of alcohol of around 15%+ combined with juice or any other soft drink are included here. RTDs are usually marketed as products to be drunk neat, with ice, or as a cocktail ingredient. Fruit-flavoured, vodka-based spirits with an alcohol content of between 16-21% are classified here. Examples: Alizé, Ursus Roter, Berentzen Fruchtige, Kleiner Feigling.
