In recent years, offline footwear retailers in the Philippines, such as Hoka and Sports Central, have gained traction by offering services like foot analysis in their stores. These services ensure that individuals purchase footwear that matches the specific needs of their feet, reflecting an increased focus on personalised consumer experiences in the footwear market.
With the rise of online shopping, the availability of cheap footwear has surged, particularly through e-commerce platforms. However, despite the abundance of low-cost alternatives, many consumers are increasingly seeking higher quality in their footwear purchases.
With the prioritisation of health and fitness following the COVID-19 pandemic, Filipinos are becoming increasingly active, leading to the rise of traditionally unpopular physical activities such as ice skating, roller skating, cycling, and golf. This shift has created an amplified demand for specialised sports footwear that caters to these niche sports.
