COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
Nova benefits from its F1 sponsorship and product launches
In 2025, Health Water Bottling Co's Nova brand maintained its leading position in bottled water in Saudi Arabia in off-trade volume terms, driven by its strong reputation, diverse product range, and varied packaging options, including glass bottles. The brand continued to see its share increase in 2025, further enhanced by significant investments in promotional campaigns across key distribution channels, as well as its sponsorship of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April 2025, a highly popular event that attracted tourists from across the GCC region and beyond.
Almarai set to acquire most dynamic player in 2025, Pure Beverages Industry
However, in 2025 Health Water Bottling faced increasing competition from both global and local players in bottled water in Saudi Arabia. For example, it was local player Pure Beverages Industry Co, in second position in 2025, which saw the strongest off-trade volume growth, with its Oska and Ival brands both seeing sales and share increases.
