COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
Cía Salus leads, offering a wide product portfolio
Cía Salus SA (Danone) remained the clear leader of bottled water in Uruguay in 2025, competing with a broad portfolio that includes Agua Mineral Salus, Agua Mineral Matutina and Evian. The company significantly increased its bottled water market share, benefiting from the consumption boom that followed the tap water crisis.
Montevideo Refrescos regains lost ground
Montevideo Refrescos SA, the national brand owner of The Coca-Cola Company, made a substantial recovery in market share following the proliferation of b-brands during the tap water crisis. Increased production capacity and robust market strategies enabled the company to regain lost ground.
