COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
Nestlé Waters UK retains the lead in 2025 but faces growing competition
Nestlé Waters UK Ltd remains the leading company in the UK bottled water market in 2025. The company’s performance is anchored by the continued strength of Buxton and Nestlé Pure Life brands, both of which benefit from a broad distribution reach and a reputation for local sourcing.
Affordability and value remain a key influence on the market
The competitive landscape in 2025 has been shaped by intense rivalry among the top brands and a significant presence of private label options. Private label bottled water is led by Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Asda, which collectively account for a substantial share of retail sales, reflecting ongoing consumer demand for affordable hydration.
