COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE
Leading players and private label perform well in 2025
Mazola and Bertolli continued to lead edible oils, respectively, followed by Crisco and Canola Harvest, then Becel, Gallo, Unico, Safflo and Mastro. Private label benefited the most from ongoing price consciousness, with notable share growth.
Crisco, which remained focused on vegetable oils, lost brand share.
Seeking to gain momentum from dynamic category growth and evolving consumer demand, new entrants such as GAEA from Greece saw opportunities in Canada and launched Greek Extra virgin olive oil in 2024.
